Quinte Educational Museum and Archives (QEMA)
Quinte Educational Museum and Archives (QEMA) is an interactive historical museum that works telling the history of education in Ontario.
QEMA is currently located in the former Ameliasburgh Council Chambers at 13 Coleman Street in Ameliasburg, with our century-old Victoria Schoolhouse on at the Ameliasburgh Heritage Village. There visitors can experience a one room schoolhouse. The Archives, located in the Ameliasburgh Town Hall, have a large collection of artifacts and records to provide researchers with information regarding schools, teachers, students and curriculum.
