Wellington & District Storehouse Foodbank

The Storehouse Foodbank collects food, clothing and household items for families in need in Wellington and surrounding areas, from Bloomfield to Ameliasburgh, Consecon and Carrying Place.

The Storehouse is currently serving over 300 individuals twice a month with basic necessities, including many seniors dealing with isolation and a fixed income. The need has increased over the years of operation and also goes up at the holidays. All clients are treated with compassion, dignity and absolute respect for privacy. The Storehouse is run entirely by volunteers with the benefit of community donations. No salaries are paid, and the cost of gas, vehicle repairs and mileage are donated as our way of giving back to the community.
