Thrive Minds April 20th

Join us for the next Book Club on April 20th at Jackson’s Falls Inn

Thank you to those who contributed to the book “vote” – there really were SO many interesting options. And welcome to the new participants, we are happy to have you join us.

We have narrowed down the book options to the four most popular choices – they are below and each is now assigned to one of our upcoming dates.

 

Reading List: Thrive Minds Book Club

  • Thursday, April 20 – Location: Jackson’s Falls, 1768 County Road 17, Milford at 7:00 pm
    • PALACES FOR THE PEOPLE by Eric Klinenberg
  • Thursday, June 22 – Location: Closson Chase Vineyards, 629 Closson Road, Hillier (outside in the garden if weather permits!!) at 7:00 pm
    • STOLEN FOCUS by Johann Hari
  • Thursday, August 24 – venue on east side of PEC – TBD
    • THE BROKEN LADDER: HOW INEQUALITY AFFECTS THE WAY WE THINK, LIVE AND DIE  by Keith Payne
  • Thursday, October 26th – venue on west side of PEC – TBD
    • BRAIDING SWEETGRASS by Robin Wall Kimmerer

LIBRARY BOOKS: If you wish to sign out a copy of the first book, please let Susan know privately via email ASAP, and she will need your library card number. They have asked that we submit a list of everyone who wishes to sign out books so they can put out a wide call for each title in one shot. 

BOOKS & COMPANY: Thank you to our local bookshop for supporting Thrive Minds! Books & Company will offer a 15% discount to book club members (just tell them you are a member of Thrive Minds book club).
