Parks, Playgrounds & Sports Facilities

The County of Prince Edward is responsible for the maintenance of 180 acres of parkland including a 46 km linear trail and a community beach. These spaces are open to the public and each park offers a variety of amenities.

The County also maintains ball diamonds, tennis/multipurpose courts, and soccer pitches.

The Millennium Trail
The Millennium Trail is a 46-km long, County-wide trail system that runs from Consecon to Picton. The trail is popular with a wide variety of recreational users year-round including walkers, hikers, joggers, cyclists, ATV riders, dirt bikers (licensed and insured), horses and riders, mobility devices, snowmobilers, skiers and snowshoers.

Wellington Rotary Beach
Located in the heart of Wellington, on the shore of Lake Ontario, the Wellington Rotary Beach is a popular destination for sunbathers, walkers, cyclists and swimmers.
